roasted chickpeas bc occasionally i give into white people hype
anyone that says healthy food tastes better than unhealthy food is a liar and everyone knows it. these arent as good as chips or whatever but they are pretty flipping good so try them
Ingredients:
1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas
Drizzle of olive oil
Seasonings of choice (i like paprika, cumin, garlic salt but up to u except if u make a sweet version ur not allowed to read my blog anymore)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 C, line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicone mat
Rinse and drain the chickpeas really well (some people have recommended taking the skin off beforehand-its a lie it doesnt do shit don't be a sheep and use ur brain)
Dry the beans really well (what i do is line the baking tray with paper towels/tea towels, dump the chickpeas on, and take another towel and kind of roll it over in circular motions until its dry)
Place in the oven for about 15 minutes
Take them out and drizzle with olive oil and toss with seasonings (dont be a cheap trick and coat generously)
Roast another 15 minutes
Turn off the oven and open the door slightly, let them cool in there for max crunch
*store at room temp, best on the first day
